The town of Lewiston NY was formed in 1818 and is named after the 3rd Governor of New York, Morgan Lewis.  It is a town with a rich history in the Buffalo Niagara Region.  In 2012, Lewiston was rated as one of the “Top Ten Best Small Towns in America” by publishing company Rand McNally.

As a Lewiston resident, you will enjoy the scenic vistas, attractive neighborhoods, beautiful views of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario.  The Lewiston Jazz Festival and the Outdoor Art Festival are its most popular summer gatherings.

You have the choice of public or private educational institutions including the Lewiston-Porter or Niagara-Wheatfield School Districts, Stella Niagara Educational Park, Sacred Heart Villa, St. Peter’s R.C. School, Niagara University and Niagara County Community College.  The town libraries include; Lewiston Public Library, Sanborn-Pekin Free Library and the Ransomville Free Library.
